Gerard the Mute Wolf

Meet Gerard, the one year and nine month year old (approximate age) male black wolf. He's sweet, unassuming and hard working, but he has a very low self-esteem and gets defensive very easily. The reason for this is the fact that he is a mute wolf, he is unable to speak. This has caused his sight, hearing and smell to be extremely enheightened, but this aside he is totally unable to talk or make any sound at all except for growls and small yips. He normally keeps to himself and does not believe he will ever find a life mate, he doubts his skills and because of his silence he gets awkward in social situations very easily.
He is named after the leader singer of the band My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way. He is my inspiration in every way, shape and form. This character kind of reminds me of Gerard in his Revenge days, when he had black hair. I prefer him with his Danger Days look, but I can't really make a flaming red wolf! Anyway, he is named Gerard after my inspiration in life, music and just about everything else.
The main reason I submitted this is for to draw. Feel free to ignore unless your name is Haru I hope you like what he looks like! It's really hard to see his underfur and markings, but they are the exact same colour as his mane. He has leg stripes, a centre band on his tail and ear rims. Hope you like him! I think he's gorgeous.
